Yea, I think "holographic" is the correct terminology. Now that you mention it, I do recall reading about quantum processors & storage. Understanding EDIG's product is like knowing the ABC's compared to quantum technology :)

I'm still not so sure I agree with you in regards to music either. We do know that at this time, serious compression needs to be done to fit music on a spinless storage device. And, this is required just for CD, let alone DVD Audio. Do you happen to know how much space a a typical album takes up in DVD format at it's highest rate (since the standard so far is very wide open in this regard, I might as well shoot for the largest capacity)? We're talking gigs, correct? Spinless gigs within 2-4 years? I'm not so sure....anyone out there who follows flash memory development closely have a guess? I guess the DVD-Audio could still be compressed (unlike DVD video, the audio is not actually compressed, is it?) which would make it more reasonable. Yet, b/c of pricing, wouldn't it still make sense to store this format on a cheaper spin device for a home device (ie. HD....the answer depends on how large the memory can get and how cheap it becomes....I still think memory will be much more expensive compared to its spinning equivalent).
