Jimmy,

Many of these stories are just like the stories
told by the Kuwaitis after the invasion of their
country by Iraq. In particular, I remember the
story about how Iraqi soldiers had raided this
hospital and had thrown babies out of incubators
onto the ground. Then, a doctor who had resisted
was dipped into a vat of acid until his arms and
legs were melted off. There even was a photo of
this atrocity floated around the world. The sad
thing was though, these events never occured. It
was just paranoia and rumor. It did however have
the intended effect of helping cement support for
a coalition army to invade Kuwait and remove Iraq
under the UN authority.

Thanks a lot for the post. After repeating a lie for 1,000 times it becomes the truth, especially with quite a few 24 hours of news channels, it doesn't take long to add up that 1,000 times.
