This whole business of being able to designate shares as non-borrowable for the purpose of short selling has likely been the most informative piece of info I have learned here on SI. I have read much on the subject of trading but I had never read about this before. This info in itself is worth many times my $200 lifetime membership fee. Many many thanks to all those who researched and brought this point to light.
