I may be wrong, but I think Sony is only the distributor for the game. The actual company that developed it is a small place called Verant. And they are the ones who keep it running. Anyway my point was not to nominate them as a buyout target, but just wanted to state my opinion that this style of multiplayer game will be the primary form of multiplayer game as time goes on. BTW, Microsoft is also developing their own similiar style game, called Asheron's Call I believe.
