Vendit, That's why your and Steeny's T.A. analysis is so important to those of us who like to trade around our core positions for extra $. It's so important to anticipate the near term moves when trading vs. investing (especially in this era when the active fund managers move such huge blocks of stock in their futile efforts to beat the averages). Hi Vendit; My gut feeling is that AOL did great today. It showed it's one of the stocks to buy when people again are buying. But I still had to meet a margin call (didnt do anything with AOL, sold PFE and EMC at a loss and sold cov calls on DELL and NITE). For everyone's information: I'll post this on three threads, hope that is not considered spamming. Dell is no longer the number 2 holding of Janus 20. As of March 31, 1999 Janus 20 #1 Aol, 16.16% #2 MSFT 6.12% #3 Dell 5.5% (used to be 11%) #4 Nokia 5.47% #5 Time Warner 5.19% and #6 is Csco 5% Freeus

hi vendit got a call today from M.S.D.W.about a margin call ,dont know if sell a couple of aol,intc , qwst, csco, athm,or transfer fresh money from another acount ,that call was at 9;15 so at 10;45 when aol -9 csco -1 intc -2 athm-3 qwst -3 ,i almost sell just in time my wife call we talk about and stay thanks GOD ,BUT THE PROblem is tommorow another day ,and really a little lost first time happen to me ,any advice from you or thread apreciated regards luis
