Hal Before we all get too excited, this is NOT internet access over phone lines. From what I can tell from the Speedus website, it's a download only transmitted signal, probably to a microwave reciever. Probably line of sight. It sounds similar to the Direct TV web connection. That too is download only. The upload is handled via an ordinary modem. If any object is in the way of the signal you lose the connection. Therefore it's available to a limited number of locations. Worse yet, it only supports Windoze machines. So much for us Mac users. :-) Back to lurking. Tony (Still long, but regretting not having sold at six)
