I'll preface all of my point by point explanations with the following: I fully admit that I did not anticipate the persistence of the sell-off.

What a laugh! But wasn't that the POINT? Your posts were precisely explaining to one and all that you WERE anticipating the persistence of the sell-off and this... no THIS... no THIS was the bottom. Now you say, well, I didn't anticipate the stock going lower, but when I called the bottom I was right... until it went lower.

That's like a dart thrower telling one and all that he'll hit the bull's eye and after he misses the entire dartboard, saying, "Well, yes, I did not anticipate the difficulty of hitting that target, but my form and follow through were spectacular."

Sure it took 12 million shares to create such a precipitous drop. And no one anticipated that. That's precisely my point. You predicted something and it didn't happen. That's why hour-to-hour predictions are USELESS. They are subject to betas and factors that are unknowable and uncontrollable in such a short term.

You're sidling dangerously over to buffoon territory (pop. TokyoMex)
