OT
Oh Craig, I hate to say it...after all I'm Queen of the DELL thread...but I do believe it is dead money for many months. It's just out of favor now and although a fine company, is now considered overvalued. I havent sold mine... I have many shares covered with cov calls to meet a margin call...and I think its a good long term hold but ....well...thats my opinion.

I stayed with DELL too long I'm afraid. But would I sell in the 30's? I dont think so.

OTOTOT - DELL
Craig,
Hope you don't mind me throwing in my 2 cents. If you intend to keep your Dell shares because you believe they will continue to appreciate, why don't you get approved for level 1 options and sell covered calls against them. If you think it will be range bound for awhile (conventional wisdom), at least you can earn some $ on those shares. And if the stock spikes up and stays there through expiration you can get them called away at the strike price and keep the premium. There are a lot of folks on the Dell thread that have made serious $ doing just that. Covered calls are the least risky way to play options if you are so inclined. Good luck.

Dell is in a funk like all box makers are....I still love it. When it comes back, it will come back with a venegence !

Remember, never bet against Michael Dell.

DELL is much more then a box maker..this will be evident soon enough and I personally will never sell my DELL, and like it long term at current mid $30 level.

Best wishes......
