Verapamil extended release is generic for Calan SR (Searle) or Isoptin SR (Knoll). Covera HS (Searle) is a little different because it delivers the drug in an uneven fashion with a high dose in the AM and a lower dose as the day goes on. Verapamil Extended release is a very popular high blood pressure drug. Zenith Goldline currently markets a generic for this drug. Its a big market and IMO there is room for DRMD to take a decent percentage of it.
