San Diego gets 2003 Super Bowl
San Diego will play host to Super Bowl XXXVII, the National Football League's flagship event in 2003, NFL owners decided Wednesday morning

Qualcomm Stadium was selected as the site after a pitch by San Diego officials in Atlanta. It's the third time since 1988 that the city will host the game. In 1998, the last time the game was in town, it generated an estimated $2.5 million in taxes and related city revenues.

Caxton:

Thanks for the update--that is a new price! I have my list from about a month ago and it was $499. Sprint was $299, PrimeCo $399, and BAM $499. More subsidizing or is MOT lowering the price? Inquiring minds want to know!
