Today, I took advantage of the rally and sold all my Dell holding. I have serious profits in this stock, and could no longer avoid the reality of the situation...the stock traded close to 50 million shares today and couldn't even gain a 1/16 of a point.

I suspect you're far from the only one in this boat, and that's much of the reason that the stock couldn't even gain 1/16.

However, that phenomenon will likely exhaust itself over the next few days. I expect the Nasdaq to continue a modest recovery, and DELL to begin to participate in that recovery as the ranks of those willing to sell at 35 dwindles.

cpq may not be a bad play, long term, the market loves turn around stories and gives them a great deal of latitude...conversely perfection that dell delivers can't be topped, so the market abandons it...the fundamentals good or bad not always equal to the market perception of future and the short term price...
