SPX went down another day and turned on my buy signal on my other TA method (using a time series regression approach). Then it bounced up.... It's now back inside the 34 day BB. I can't find a strictly comaprable event since the beginning of 97. i.e. a more or less right angle hit at the 34 day BB from above sitting right on it for one close and and then falling through and spending a day below before coming back. SPX did something similar with the 34 week BB in Oct 98. It fell through the 34 day BB and stayed below in Aug 98 but that was a sideways glancing blow in a typical crash situation.

Another indicator based on the regression one shows that this could be an important turning point....

Were the phone lines still operating? Perhaps you would consider getting a few solar panels with batteries and an inverter (pretty cheap these days) to stay online when the power goes out? It might also come in handy for Y2K. Yogi
