A Net Company That's Actually Profitable
By Timothy Middleton

You want something unusual? How about an Internet company that actually turns a profit.

INFORMATION RESOURCE ENGINEERING (IREG), which provides secure network communication systems to financial institutions and e-commerce sites, has turned the profit corner, according to Robert Schroeder, senior equity analyst for Taglich Brothers D'Amadeo Wagner & Co. in New York.

"It's a leading player in the virtual private network market," he said. The company supplies its encryption chip to NORTEL COMMUNICATIONS (Vancouver Stock Exchange: NTE) and CISCO SYSTEMS (CSCO), thus gaining 75% penetration of the market.

INFORMATION RESOURCE ENGINEERING, based in Baltimore, Md., posted a loss for FY98 of $0.30 per share. This year, Mr. Schroeder expects the company to post EPS of $0.28 per share. For FY00, he forecasts EPS of $0.70 per share.

Hello Sergio,

Sorry to have been away for soooo long. I'll have to take a good look at TTWO again. I remember Cary had picked it a while ago. Went to Vegas for a little while and left the normal amount of money there to keep everyone happy. Every so often I need to go back and visit my and others money. Did go to a couple of shows though. Mistre is well worth the $70 per person ticket. Very surreal.

Got back just in time to have the house tented for fumigation so had to move out for a couple of days. Staying in motels is not fun anymore. Soon the entire top half of the half of the house will be torn off for some remodeling and repair work. Busy, busy, busy.

The bride is back in AOL, I'm still holding CELL for the bottom play.

Have been reading "Digital Daytrading" and am very interested in going for it. PQT is the best example, until today, that I have ever seen of a perfect daytrading stock. I've hit it a couple, three times over the last two weeks, but not nearly for what it could have been.
