They are heatsinks, but not for the cpu. they are for the voltage regulators to the cpu. See firingsquad.com If you just wanna see them heatsinks without the cpu in the way: firingsquad.com

Guys, I don't know if this has been answered or not, but that white thingy in that picture is a heat sink on the voltage regs, NOT the cpu.. you will notice there are about 8 voltage regs on that board.. Steve
