If you believe in T for the long term why wouldn't you buy into it via UMG (Media One)? It seems you are basically are buying T for approx $10 less than mkt .... of course you have to wait a year to actually get it.

And if the deal doesn't go thru then we know Comcast, MSFT and AOL are all interested ... and Cable properties will be worth a lot more in 12 mos.

What am I missing?

Hi Walter.....thanks for the point of view,...I think I bought a little early BUT with the cable deals this has got to be a very positive long term development.
