OT-- Vendit, Don't apologize for the lesson on candlestick formation. Personally, I very much appreciate the opportunity to read it here. I recognize the "Ask Vendit" thread exists for the purpose of questions about TA in general, but the question you answered was specific to AOL's candlestick formation. In any case, I appreciate being able to read your explanation here.

Best Regards,
Tom

Vendit I agree with you, bullish for tomorrow. Finished all my buys today. We'll see tomorrow; can't wait,

Candle chart lessons:Brian,

Yes it is a hammer.

You have to separate how to interpret it. When you have an ever rising stock and
see this formation it says that trading is all at the top of a range after a run up and
this is bearish.

Today the selling took place first which accounts for the stick like tail on the
candle then a rebound into reality and the buying began after lunch and
accelerated into the close which is very bullish for tomorrow.

Please see the qualifications (candle rules) I placed in my original post labled "chart
lessons". We have to open up and end up tomorrow to confirm a temp bottom.

My apologies to anyone who this bores and I suggest that more questions be asked
to me PM or on the "Ask Vendit" thread so as I won't be off topic.
