Chaz too, Right on, in describing the key technology for CSCO as the IOS. They have made it the standard that drives the virtuous cycle of increasing returns as customers and application writers lock into the operating system. It's a very familiar tale demonstrating the key element of owning the standards as a driving force for the gorilla. Kinda sounds like MSFT, as well.
