I also own a few thousand shares of Dell and have had my butt kicked over the last two weeks. But I ask myself, "I'm still over XXX hundred percent, will DELL be back at $50 sometime this year?" I really feel yes...what do you think?

Westmoreland, thanks for the response. I don't take exception with how MD runs the company. Take the Street out of the equation and you'll find the company is managed, and performs, quite well...way above average. But, you already know this.

One thing that Dell can do to help the stock, and this is to start buying back larger amounts of the stock than they have in the past. However, this may only have a short-term benefit for the stock holders. If the "big money" guys are hell bent on driving down the price of the stock, I don't know what can be done to stop them.

I am long on Dell and would like to capitalize on the recent extreme sell-off in the stock price. I know the price has fallen below a 35 dollar support level. It looks as if the next support level is 23 dollars reached last fall.

I want to buys calls at the bottom for a major comeback. It seems to me that the sell-off is too harsh and over-reactive and therefore the price should bounce back in a big way when dell's earnings show surprises on the upside and their new ventures start paying off. However, we may not even need an earnings push, since we could benefit from an overall NASDAQ rise. Need to be patient to get in at the bottom, especially with options. Just my own opinion.
