Richard, I read your memo after I sent my previous memo to Gonzongo. I have attended Telerate TA conference in Las Vagas last year. I attended Chande's class. I like him a lot. I have also attended LeBeau's class. He discussed ADX and its short coming. He is considered the authority on ADX nowdays. You are right, if you smooth VHF then it would eliminate the many false signals I mentioned in my previous memo. Using midprice will give good results. ADX is smoothed for that reason.
