One other thing..... the SIBI release was followed, within 30 minutes, by the Lilly-sourced release with identical wording. SIBI works very closely with its partners to maintain their confidentiality. I've tried, many times, to gets hints on the status of projects at BMY, Novartis, and Lilly (VGCC). Nada. The lack of a "hey, we negotiated a good deal from a position of strength" sound to this release might reflect (1) that SIBI didn't do such, (2) SIBI's lack of concern for the small shareholder, or (3) Lilly's discretion.
