Not to be mean, but why should I help you? You waste your energy casting doubt on VLNC, a company that I have a substantial investment in. If you are stumbling with this minor time-to-tool problem, I question your general abilities as a present day engineer. I am not talking about voodoo here, just partnering with a mold shop that comprehends current PC maker's time-to-market issues. I can get a custom bracket or metal enclosure in quantity in 2 working days, painted in 3. Oooooh, it is 1999, what is next, LiPoly batteries? Sorry that was mean, but modern day reality in the PC universe is not the 12 weeks you are used to.
P.S. I once tooled a laptop in 6 weeks in the US from a solid model. It took an extra week to get it textured, Rawal was backlogged.
