China and trade. I don't necessarily disagree with your position, and my post should not be interpreted as such, quite the contrary. I did happen to catch a 30 second blurb of McCain (R-AZ) saying much the same thing--that trade is too big, too important for all nations to hold it hostage to spygate (you could read between the lines if he thought that the US left the door open to the chicken coop). Unfortunately, I don't have a great deal of confidence that the "wiser minds in Congress" prevail as often as they should. Regards. Steven
