I agree with Del, we need a fight. All this blathering about ethics and morals is really unendurable. Good and evil are not viable universals. Plato was an idiot. Aristotle was a chauvinist. Kant couldn't. The Earth is a jungle without laws or rules. People may be able to impose social rules (law) on society and enforce them more or less by brutality and death, but "good" is purely subjective and has no objective existence. God does not exist, or at least he is laying pretty low. He won't even protect his worshippers -- especially helpless little children who have done nothing wrong except to get born. All a person can do to be good is to love as many and as much as he can, and to avoid injuring all else. He is on his own, required to choose his own standards to please himself, while knowing he must sometimes choose the lesser of evils. There is no one to forgive you, except those who love you, but you must forgive everyone who forgives you in exchange.
