Michael, good thoughtful post. These are industry known figures.

I don't recall what they are off the top of my head, but a marketing organization would know its cost acquisition per market share %. They will be able to measure this.

You have some excellent ideas re: home retail marketing. I liked the idea about Ryan reading before he enters first grade and relatives connecting via video, I'll add, over IP :)

But your comments might imply Intel needs to spend its entire marketing budget on the home retail market? What about the corporate market? i.e. marketing campaign to ITs and corporate purchasing managers? These are less visible ads to you and me.
