jman... I enjoy reading everyone's opinions, including yours. Everyone has something to contribute. Because someone doesn't agree with an opinion and attempts to place you or someone else on the defensive of that opinion is wrong. Some folks just like to play the offensive role no matter what. jmanvegas and Don, Interesting discussion on the merits of swing trading versus long term anticipation. I appreciate both of your perspectives, and would be interested in your comments as to why it might not be appropriate to actually practice both methods? Since I anticipate a strong upside in the long term of RMBS, I've placed my long investment with LEAPS, and some stock. But I also trade on the swings to take profits and reinvest them. Both strategies compliment each other well. Am I just trying to have my cake and eat it to? Brooke S
