Steve: Your take on XMCM/NBCi, please. Other nets off ~11%, XMCM off ~50%. Do you see the parallels to USA/LCOS deal as I do, or is there something else fundamentally wrong going on that has XMCM out of favor with investors?

TIA -- Skipper

Steve, have you ever heard of MYSW (MySoftware Company)?

I've owned the stock for a couple months and it has done very well. New management is leading the turnaround and the charge to the web aimed at small business services (customer prospecting, list brokering, insurance, productivity solutions, online backup services...etc). I think they've got huge upside potential considering that they are profitable, still tiny (70 million market cap, have a relatively low p/e and are growing rapidly (though quietly)... FS Van Kasper picked up coverage with a BUY today and Volpe also has a buy on the stock. I expect more Wall St. firms to take notice as the SOHO services business moves to the forefront.

I'd appreciate any feedback if you are familiar with the company. I think it is a great investment and am looking for 100% or more upside once their web business starts pumping out profits (their online margins are very high).

PS- I used to work in tech equities (research) and am usually pretty good at spotting winners....

Hi Steve -

In your opinion, why didn't BNBN fly as other 'nets did? I realize the market isn't as easy on the 'nets as before but others are still moving - what is your opinion on BNBN? Thanks

Steve,

I think WGAT has a good prospect of becoming
the little guy that undercuts the majors in
getting the masses on the internet bandwagen.
Any input and comment would be appreciated concerning
WGAT's competitors and its future.

Best wishes,

the Druid...

Steve...

Your thoughts on CNET. One of the few Internet companies that are profitable. Great management. Great association with NBC.

Thanks in advance.

Nick

Steve - Thanks for monthly Hot Watch list received today.

One question re: your dropping BYND from list and unfavorable comments on DRIV and BYND. I've thought of DRIV in a different category -- a "behind the scenes" ESD service for any retailer and not a direct competitor in that space. Agree completely with views in general on etailing and disintermediation, but didn't think that applied to DRIV business model the way it obviously does for BYND business model.

Clarification would be very much appreciated.

George Martin

BTW, very interesting call / comments on StarMedia.....

Steve, I was wondering what you think of the ASP (application server provider) market. The business model like USIX seems to make sense.
