And it has been doing so largely through a global army of consultants and retailers, not its own sales force.

OFF TOPIC - This is about Cisco

I think it's a good idea to sell to smaller business customers. When these companies grow, they'll continue to be Cisco customers. It's less expensive to keep old customers than find new ones. Cisco will acquire these customers when they're small and cost less to bring on-board. Efficient!
