edamo ... ot ot ot ... OIC Seminar: anybody can go there FOC, they even give you cookies and soft drinks!! I was at the workshop session (2nd day, did not attend the 1st day since I had been there last year). It was refreshing. The instructor was excellent. You can call him anytime. He works for NASDAQ-AMEX. He covered Stock Repair with Options, Long Call Bull Spread, and interestingly your favorite method: Short Put. Well to minimize the risk he showed Short Put Bull Spread. Then my favorite subject: Strangle on a Stock. His friends kept calling him about "new" ways of making money. Like in Oct 98 (pre-split prices): Buy Dell at 59, margin 50%, cash required 29 1/2, sell Jan 40 call at 28 1/2. Cash needed $ 1/sh. Margin interest 9 1/2%. If called invest $ 100 + interest, sell at $ 4,000. WOW!!! But then what happened? If Dell fell below $ 42, margin call. All in all, there is always something new that one can learn, no matter how much education one has had in the past. That's why while I am already aware most of the materials, there is something new to me. That's why I recommend to anybody contemplating playing options. And yes: do paper trade first, and don't you money you cannot afford to lose all and then some. I subscribe to your philosophy: share the knowledge. You have done done along with Don Martini, Mark Peterson, Chuzz, Bachman, Mohan to name a few and other generous posters. Thanks. Best regards Paul
