Dennis,

I accept your apology and just wish that the trading vs.investing debate could be put to rest. Each person has there own circumstances, needs, and time frames.

I know you post trades on the Stock Attack because I have lurked there since Chris started it. Even long term investors can benefit from TA. When I want to get into a stock (yes, for the long term), while I'm not proficient at any form of TA, I have no problem bumming info from others. Frequently, stocks I'm interested will be TAed on PnF or Stock Attack threads and I will take the "reads" into consideration. In fact, my current target is BRCM, which I see you went long on this morning. Well, I wish I'd been able to pull the trigger yesterday in the low 80's, but I was out of the office all day.

Dennis,

IMP, I did not single anyone out for comments, and if I offended you I apologize
for that.

This isn't singling out?:

But, yes, people like
Tony Viola just chant that LT investor nonsense.

You know Lee, I was over there tonight and, I have to admit-- for a
fleeting moment -- I thought I would post a little nasty. But I
reamed Daflye out for less a few weeks ago, and felt a moment of
remorse for my bad thought (Kant would be proud of me). The
problem is that these folks don't trade. Not because of the taxes but
because trading is hard. Damn hard. And they don't want to be out
because they feel they'll miss something. But, yes, people like
Tony Viola just chant that LT investor nonsense.
Well, I tried that
this year with EMC and I held from 76 to 135 and I sold at 108. I
will NEVER do that again. I am up 62 percent this year and I ain't
giving any of it back. Thanks for listening.

You either have a very short memory or some other trait I wouldn't accuse anyone of on the internet.
