Mike, i wish they would too, but Fox and orther networks want to create brand awareness. Thats why they buy sports properties even though they sometimes lose money on them. They want you to think Fox.
Its up to Actv to toot their own horn, but Fox others will be footing the advertising bills.

From the WSJ story. TV Guide is sueing Gemstar over patents. Gemstar pays broadcasters to transmit its data. Also the cable mso's are lobbying the FCC because they must relay Gemstar data for free under must carry rules. That may change as the FCC "reconsiders its rules at the dawn of digital broadcasting".

Mike, the 2 box solution is not about integrating into one. It gives you additional info, advertising, and e-commerce synchronized to whats on tv.
You still don't get that HyperTV is all about synchronization.
It enhances the programming.
