Yes, I have. I might actually be more willing to buy IBM than Intel right now. But look at a historical chart dating back to 1986 or so. IBM holders had a long and painful journey through the wilderness to get from then to now. They would have been better off putting their money into, say, Intel or Microsoft.

Of course not. That's exactly my point. NO company is invincible. You pays your money and you takes your chances. The markets are strewn with the corpses of fallen gorillas whose investors once said, "They're a great company, they'll adapt."
