Yesterday's trade did not involve the issuance of any new MDTV shares, so there would not have been any cash infusion into the company. These shares were from the old shell. However, the trade did eliminate a large block overhanging the market.

No, the actual block trade was 1 million shares. It was "printed" twice. This is a normal occurance with a market maker system. The proceeds would be closer to US$1.5 million or about C$2.25 million.
