LOL So how long before the shares are offered, and is it a good deal?

OSI... to be expected given the small premium. The market will discount OSI relative to the final buyout price (in this case 1.25 shares INF) until the actual conversion date. Part of it is the interest factor, part of it is a "risk" discount on the possibility the deal might fall apart. Remember, announced deals can and often do fall apart.

For example, look at PLAT. It was discounted $3 a share until the Feds gave formal approval to the CA buyout. even though the Fed approval was pretty much a formality and expected any day.

The market just didn't feel comfortable until the Fed approved.

That's not the issue here, but similar logic prevails. The market will discount OSI relative to INF until the conversion date.
