BGR:

What is unique about Dell's business model? It has been copied by most.

A unique business model isn't an asset.

The REAL P/B is a simple arithmetic average. Suggesting that the business plan is part of the assets and creates a "real" PB ratio doesn't wash at this end,...it is too close to "new era" thinking for me.

I actually got your point, but disagree with it.

The market so far has peeled 50% from Dell since its high. It will have a bounce in here somewhere. As the next quarter appears to be shaping up as even more difficult, it might make sense for you to consider moving on to other pastures. The shorts have already fed well off Dell and will enjoy more in coming quarters. Putting PCs together is a commodity business.

Mike Dell has been one of the most aggressive insider sellers I have ever seen and I've seen plenty of them. Whether you want to ignore this or not, it is usually a great sign that it is time to depart. The guy has sold boat loads of stock, and as I stated earlier, it makes sense for him to do just that. They rarely sell when they think the stock is going higher.

Best, Earlie
