Judy, yes this is an issue. Not sure why it's a problem, or if at some point it will be corrected. When you run across this situation, use the "report a data problem" option under the help menu and they will correct it...usually very quickly.

When Qcharts indicates a stock doesn't have options, I always double check either CBOE or the Quote.com website, both of which can be accessed quickly through the Qcharts built in browser. Oddly, the Quote.com website seems to use a different data provider and has always matched CBOE on the stocks I have checked. Further, the website chains have a few data fields not available through Qcharts at this point in time. I use mainly Qcharts chains though...much faster and more convenient.

As an options trader, I hope this problem is resolved soon and would rank it very high in the overall scheme of things. Bugs me to see all the time spent developing and supporting trade tones when a basic problem like this still exists.
