Yes, but I believe they were show casing LU's PAC or EPAC and not the "player". Reason EDIG did not get any PR in LU's press release at the time. I could be wrong.

Yes that is correct. EDIG was commissioned to build a second prototype by LU due to the rave reviews their EPAC player received. I see no reason why we shouldn't get the same type of reviews here. EPAC is superior to MP3 in several ways and is a secure format to boot.
