I don't know what is happening but DELL is moving FAST on th upside we just hit 34 3/4 and going up from there.

rude..re: ibm/dell...great post, thought provoking, in spite of not the popular opinion on the thread.....i agree....ibm gets bigger market cap wise...dell shrinks....again market cap, nothing to do with balance sheet, for it is the market cap that causes big fish to nibble on small..thanks as always, ed a.

Rudedog: Interesting analysis. Don't underestimate DELL's ability to secure a "win -win agreement" with IBM. The PC is not dead and DELL will offer new products and services that are complementary to using PCs (eg. Telecom services, ISP services). DELL may also secure the technology and service support it needs to really go after MUCH MORE of the lucrative enterprise storage market. Tom Meredith talked about this goal on a recent Merrill Lynch conference call. He'll be watching over DELL's margins. Don't underestimate what DELL will be able to do. Stay tuned.
