Nicholas...you need to look at the math involved behind the indicator to see what it's really doing. The indicators you listed all measure momentum in some way. Chande talks about redundancy between different indicators.

I use RSI as my sole momentum guage and I think I've become pretty intimate with it through the years where I don't feel the need to add or replace it unless I see something that's earth-shattering in my eyes.

I think the easiest approach to starting would be to limit the amount of indicators in your tests that you work with to get a feel for their responsiveness and quirks.

I'm still playing with Richards 13 day CCI with 200 and -150 thresholds.
