Sure, some of the fund managers are making a killing BUT for a guy with 17 million worth of Dell, you are working too hard. May I suggest a nice ocean front home in Grand Cayman? Pay a one time 10% property tax and then tax sheltered living at its finest! You'll be needing a personal assistant to tend to your boats, airplanes, cars, motorcycles, etc. so feel free to call on me...

William: I agree that the funds generally haven't even matched the market indices, at least over the past couple of years.

My point was simply that the actions apparently being taken by the institutional holders of Dell's stock are likely to hold the stock price in this 32-34 range as they sell into whatever buying volume exists, and IMO, we're unlikely to see them unloading at any price. Bottom line in my view is that we're unlikely to see any significant decline from here, but no significant upside move either until they're all done.

As for myself, I cashed out all of my annuities and 50% of my mutual funds 3 years ago, and dropped the remaining funds 18 months ago, as I found that I could do better myself. Despite tons of mistakes, the biggest on CPQ and COMS, I'm still doing 100% better than the top 10% of the funds. Hopefully, I'll learn from my mistakes and do even better. Wish I'd had the fortitude to put everything into Dell 3 years ago!!

Good luck. David T.
