Loose Change Soon-to-go public Internet companies aren't the only ones nervous about the recent weakness in Net stocks, especially recent IPOs. The big investment banks have dozens of companies waiting in the wings, and if they don't make it to market, the bankers will have to forgo hundreds of millions in fees. I just know your heart is breaking for them.... After the close, Computer Associates reported earnings that were a penny ahead of expectations.... Expect shares of Paine Webber to be strong tomorrow. It's joining the S&P 500.... Did you guys notice the rise in shares of Micron Technology? Up 3 1/8, to $38 3/4. Intel was strong, too, rising 1 7/16, to $53 1/8. Good to know some tech stocks are doing well.... So what is Nellie Mae, as Andy keeps asking me? Not my sister, but a New England student loan provider that Sallie Mae is buying. So when do we get a company called Andy Mae or better, Amy Mae? Talk Back to Street Life.... Why let Serwer, Amy, and Nelman have all the fun?!
