I wonder if Motorola is pulling all those engineer back from Teledesic for a full court technological press at IRID? Maybe they realize just the difficulty of getting all those birds up and running is giving IRID a competitive advantage now? IRID, after all, has passed that hurdle. I saw vicunas but only up at 12000+ ft., and we had the touristas and then got a little altitude sickness. So we had to come down. But South America has more bird species than any other continent by far. Ecuador was a very pleasant country. I can see worse poverty here in New Orleans. Just heard on CNBC that there was a copper surplus. So it looks like the commodity companies will have their month & a half in the sun, like the oils, and then decline. The oils peaked in mid April FCX is turning down. If basic industry/commodity stocks aren't going up, where you gonna turn? Tech stocks.
