Intel also recently announced significant price cuts on PIIIs. You can always sell the hot new chips, but can you sell them for enough money to keep those hefty profit margins?

Is there any way of knowing what applications besides PC's that a Pentium III could be used in?

Could INTC be exploring other uses of the Pentium III?

I don't know they answer to either of these questions, but I do know that chips have been showing up in many previous unconsidered places.
