I recently heard a discussion on NPR about the state of journalism. One concern was that journalists, instead of reporting the news, wanted to be the news. They want to become personalities that people watch or listen to for their opinions rather than for the news they report. Think about the plethora of talk shows on TV that consist of reporters/pundits sitting around telling us what they think about world events. Cramer seems to be of that ilk.
