after reviewing your BIO, i suspect your closer to tech than us midwesterns are. who knows what 2000 will bring. there seems to be some reward for the risk with day trading. however, someday the apple will fall from the tree. I've been a broker for two many years and granted there are many un charted waters with the net, but not with history (radio and TV). I've seen real money lost because people have chased stocks after the fact. I personally like MSPG, but AOL has a better story. Cable will replace some of the business, but not all. The business usage of the net (my opinion) will be "bus as usual" because of the rewiring cost. Additionally, the main thrust of the business world, the net is only a tool, not the course of doing business. I would even argue that its a toy and greatly over used.
