Bob:

It will take a lot of background to explain, and I'll probably slowly bleed the posts out. Perhaps John Metcalf would like to join in?

For perspective..... exactly one year ago, I said that one could take their choice........ they could buy AGPH and MLNM and go on vacation for a year for 70%, or they could wake up refreshed every morning and trade for >300%..........

Message 4616502

As those who have watched will realize, the trading portion of my portfolio (small, unfortunately) has done much better than 300%. These are 60 week charts instead of 52 week charts, but everyone will get the idea regarding the 70% part........

There is a report, as we have discussed, that von Emster was short AGPH. I believe that Tiger Fund was short AGPH, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were Tiger that caught TSC's (Eisinger's) ear. A hedge fund manager, David S, was short AGPH and "contributing" to the thread.

We wiped the floor with them. It was painful for awhile, but not scary. It was obvious that the fear-mongers only had fear on their side, not rationale.

Don't take me wrong.... Eisinger's reporting was largely factual. It was presented, however, in a negative and sensational frame, a frame which revealed that he is a reporter, and is only as good at biotech as his sources. His sources stunk (stink?).

OTOH, TSC is in deep doodoo over SEPR. Pure bunk, irresponsible bunk IMO.

Rick

>> Please tell us more about how you "did battle with those that caught TSC's ear over AGPH, and . . .won." <<

First, you find a company that is managed by Peter Johnson.

You then make an arrogant post like this.......

Then you just sit back and wait for this (enter AGPH).......

For SEPR, you look at who is making sense and who is not. Has anybody countered Jim or Peter effectively? No? Well, then, guess what? Herb is gonna lose his money.

It's sort of like the editorials for Barron's..... one doesn't need be correct, just loud.

If you can't make money investing, start a web-based investment rag, throw in some journalism of questionable value, and go public.

I've said this before..... you put Karen Bernstein, Cynthia Robbins-Roth, Mark Edwards, Jim Silverman, Peter Suzman, Vector1 and a few others in a room with catering for a couple of days, and make plans for retirement. It just isn't all that difficult if you know where the good scientists and managers are. How the Murphys and von Emsters of the world can screw up so badly is beyond me.

Nice, Bob.

Herb, try looking through a few DEF 14A filings.
