Speaking of PC gone mad, this is from the Washington Times (a link available on Drudge,) about the vulnerability of Energy Department labs to Chinese espionage (bold is mine.):

"The Department of Energy could have been dramatically more energetic and effective and conscious of the security problem," Mr. Richardson said. Mrs. O'Leary, the president's first energy secretary, prohibited badges that clearly showed who had clearances on the grounds that they were discriminatory. She also has been criticized for not requiring background checks of thousands of foreign visitors to the energy labs.

From a right wing news and opinion website (also a link from Drudge):

"Under proposed legislation the U.S. Postal Service will be attempting to bilk e-mail users out of "alternate postage fees." Bill 602P will permit the Federal Government to charge 5 cents surcharge on every e-mail delivered by billing Internet Service Providers at source. "
