why do you say be very careful, if someone has held something long term, I mean for a year or more, and has 100 percent profit, should we take that profit. I do some day flipping of stocks, but also have held some, and some I have held and should have gotten RID of !!!
Where is the FINE line.

I agree. I went all cash about an hour ago because something just doesn't feel right today. Maybe it's that rumor about the Fed raising interest rates. There's kind of an eerie undercurrent to today's market activity. Yesterday was a pleasant surprise, but I'm still looking for selling with blowout volume; the selling up to now has just been too lethargic to signal a bottom, IMO. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not on the short side, either, because I don't feel like I know what's going to happen at this point.

Good luck, all!

OSI: Jenna and thread: being bought out..Tim Luke ("no rest" SI thread) called it sometime ago. The interesting thing is that he just said he's holding out for $40 and it's now trading at under 30 (he's good!)...don't have it, but some others on this thread might. Info.

P.S. someone on his thread said CNBC to do story/provide more details this afternoon

Gemmers...the long-bond is now 5.84 +. This is 10 basis points from the recent high. Tread lightly traders... might want to take some profits. The bond market may once again doing the Fed's work. My motto/mantra remains "Hit and run, hit and run". Might cost me profits lost (opportunity cost), but I can live with that. Just a thought. (Lee)
