Dep, " rumors of higher rates". I don't think so. -Europe Eurodollar is tanking faster than you can say pizza. They will not be buying any oil anytime soon. -Same with Asia. With ailing Japan they will not be coming out anytime soon. No oil there. -oil countries are all in such a state of funk, they wil all cheat. - In fact the oils are already feeling this and coming down. -With y2k "potential" ?debacle? on the way the last thing you want is a slowing economy.
