DHTI - NEWS OUT DEAL WITH MICROSOFT/HEALTHCARE E-COM.
(COMTEX) B: Dynamic Healthcare Technologies Announces New E-Commerce
B: Dynamic Healthcare Technologies Announces New E-Commerce Product and
Services Initiative

LAKE MARY, FLA. (May 27) BUSINESS WIRE -May 27, 1999--Dynamic
Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DHTI) today announced a new
electronic commerce product and services initiative that makes use of
the Internet to provide secure, low-cost access to medical and clinical
information from a variety of sources. Working in conjunction with
Microsoft Consulting Services - Healthcare, Dynamic has developed
Dynamic E-Net, which will let healthcare providers create their own
portal and set up a secure, virtual private network so physicians,
clinicians and insurers with the proper authorization can use a
standard web browser and any Internet-connected device to get to the
specific information they need.

The initiative, which includes a fee-based e-commerce model, will be
implemented in several phases. The first phase extends the web-enabling
capability of Dynamic WebSight, a web-based teleradiology application,
throughout Dynamic's product lines, including anatomic pathology,
health information management, laboratory, radiology and surgical
services. WebSight is currently part of Dynamic PACSPlus, a picture
archiving and communication system (PACS) that integrates a patient's
information and imaging history with their corresponding radiology
images.

Dynamic E-Net will go into production at customer sites using Dynamic's
document management, pathology and radiology information systems in the
third and fourth quarters of 1999. In the second phase of the
initiative, the company will extend the E-Net model into locations that
may or may not currently use Dynamic solutions.

Dynamic E-Net was developed using Microsoft's Windows DNA standards
technology which is designed to treat different types of information as
"objects." It will allow healthcare providers to define the "rules" for
each user outside the organization--physicians, insurance companies
and/or employer groups--so that individuals with the proper
authorization can use the Internet to share and disseminate patient
information in a secure, real-time environment. Healthcare providers
will also be able to use the model to support fee-based medical
information business transactions.

Mitchel J. Laskey, president and CEO of Dynamic, commented, "It is
evident by the high level of interest in electronic commerce recently
exhibited in the healthcare marketplace, that the technology we have
developed will be embraced by our own customers as well as by other
healthcare organizations. The experience that our development team
gained in the development of Dynamic's WebSight product with the
Windows DNA technology, coupled with the expertise contributed by the
Microsoft team, allowed us to deliver an incredible product."

John Carpenter, managing consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services -
Healthcare, said, "When we first began discussions with the Dynamic
team and saw how advanced they were, not only in their thinking, but in
actually having a 'battle-ready' solution, our team jumped at the
chance to participate. Dynamic's approach closely parallels Microsoft's
Knowledge Management (KM) strategy for removing barriers between
information and knowledge workers. This project positions Dynamic to
enable health care organizations to become content providers in the
electronic commerce arena."

In a later phase, the company is examining the potential of offering
this new methodology to healthcare organizations as a service for
managing and moving information across medical enterprise sites and/or
to affiliated sites outside the walls of the organization on a
transactional fee basis. Currently, many healthcare provider
organizations depend on off-site storage for patient information. Each
time information is required, by the healthcare provider or an external
organization, it must be physically retrieved, delivered and returned.
Electronic storage and management would offer a convenient,
cost-effective alternative.

"Today more than ever, the need to make medical information available
quickly and securely wherever a patient appears in the delivery network
is crucial to cost-effective and friendly medical treatment. We believe
that, by offering this electronic commerce service to organizations on
a risk-sharing basis, Dynamic is in a position to fill a critical gap
in our industry," said Laskey. "It is opportune that, while others in
the information technology industry have been expending energy in
evolving and promoting the concept, we have been putting our energy
into delivering real tangible solutions."

Dynamic Healthcare Technologies is a leading provider of
mission-critical healthcare information systems for clinical services
departments and facilities. The company's product line, DynamicVision,
is a suite of image-, voice-, and web-enabled systems for anatomic
pathology, radiology, laboratory, surgical services and health
information management. By making it possible for healthcare
professionals to have access to the information they need about a
patient anytime and anywhere, Dynamic's information systems contribute
to higher quality and more cost-effective delivery of care. Dynamic
information systems are installed in more than 600 customer locations
across the United States and Canada. The company is headquartered in
the greater Orlando area and has a key operations and development
center near Boston.

This press release contains forward looking statements that involve a
number of risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to,
certain areas beyond the Company's control with respect to future
business events and other risks detailed from time to time in the
Company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
