Yeah, Jerry's one of the founders but I don't know how much input he has in the running of the company. Officially, he listed along with D Filo as "Chief Yahoo" on the YHOO profiles in the Yahoo financial area. I saw Jerry speak on tv at a Harvard Business school forum and he seemed a likeable and down-to-earth sort. I remember he said that when he asked the VC guys who first backed them why they had invested in Yahoo instead of another portal, one of the VC guys responded: "Nine months." Yang said he asked what that meant and the guy said, "That's how far ahead of the competition you are."
